Solar Comb conceives the pattern as a beehive: regular cells, light moving between the partitions, a natural geometry. The rug becomes a solar map laid on the floor, where each cell carries its own density.
Emmanuel Thibault is a photographer. He learned light on fashion sets before making it the raw material of his rugs. For SPATIAL, he leaves the figure behind for mineral abstraction: texture becomes subject, light becomes floor.

Manifesto
Emmanuel Thibault moves away from the world of fashion toward a more abstract territory, more mineral and botanical. A surrealist artist, the photographer observes living things.
"Where many people see only pebbles, I see molecules or solar systems; in broken glass, starlight; in the eyes of ants, the architecture of the next century." Emmanuel Thibault
