Nepalese Rugs

Macassar takes its name from Indonesian ebony, the dark, veined wood that Art Deco cabinetmakers prized for its deep contrasts. The rug translates these streaks into a knotted surface, where each row of yarn catches the light differently depending on the angle. NEPALESE RUGS brings together our hand-knotted pieces, signed by the partner workshop in Nepal that has worked with us for more than twenty years.

Manifesto
The signature of the house: rugs hand-knotted in Nepal, in hand-spun Himalayan wool. Their natural irregularity speaks of living things. We publish Nepalese Rugs as a timeless reference, contemporary and classic at once, where craft is the motif.
